Mother Breath
A Mothers' Breathwork Community
Mother Breath Community Breathwork
Mother Breath is a nurturing online sanctuary dedicated to supporting mothers through the transformative power of breathwork. By holding space for mothers in our monthly breathwork sessions, we help them come back to themselves and journey through motherhood with more presence, more connection and more compassion.

We love our roles as mothers. But we recognise that modern motherhood can feel like a lonely journey. And we know we are not alone in feeling this. We also know that the breath allows us to come home to ourselves. To remember ourselves. To remind us of our place in the web of belonging that connects us to everything within us and outside of us. In this way – and many more ways – we see breathwork as a gift. It is a gift that never stops giving once set in motion, creating more space for patience, compassion, self-reflection, self-love and self-acceptance.

Having experienced for ourselves the way that breathwork has transformed our experience of motherhood, we have come together to create a space for a wider community of mothers to tap into the many benefits of breathwork.

The crux of our ‘why’ is this: we believe it takes a village to raise not only children but mothers too. In order to carry out the important work we have to do as mothers in guiding our children and leading our family, it is key that we feel connected to ourselves, connected to others and connected to life itself. We need to feel supported and we need to enter into communities with other mothers who get it. Only then can we lead our families and guide our children from a place of presence, connection and compassion. And – just as importantly – we can also remember ourselves and come home to ourselves. Because this we know: us mothers also deserve to feel connected, whole, and alive.

Breathwork offers a portal to this remembering, this aliveness, this connection. That’s why we created Mother Breath.

About Us
Mother Breath is the creation of four mothers. Just like many of the mothers we hold space for, we are mums who are wearing many hats in our lives. We are mums to toddlers, pre-teens and everything in between. We are working mothers, juggling work both in and out of the home. We are homeschooling mums and regular school mums. We are single mums, solo mums, co-parenting mums and mums in long-term partnerships. Together, we are Mother Breath.

Hannah
I am a mother to an amazing 7 year old boy who is bursting with vitality and curiosity. Becoming a mother has been a profound rite-of-passage, breathwork has been my anchor through this beautiful, challenging and ever-evolving journey of motherhood. Sharing and teaching breathwork is both my profession and my joy, especially with fellow mothers. My heart lights up sharing the gifts of breath and song. My favourite places to be are in the woods or sat around a fire. I live in the South Downs, East Sussex.

Grace
I am mother to two energetic young girls, who I think of as my biggest teachers. I have the intensity of motherhood to thank for guiding me into the world of breathwork, which I use daily to navigate the ups and downs of this beautifully messy chapter. Aside from practising breathwork and sharing it with other mothers, my great loves in life are surfing, learning languages and cold water swimming. I come from Scotland but have settled in Switzerland amongst the lakes and mountains.

I am a mother to two wonderful children, my boy is 6 & my girl is 4. Since experiencing the loss of both my Dad and Brother and becoming a mother all within 3 years and half years of each other, I found Breathwork to be the most helpful tool to navigate the grief, help find myself again and to start thriving instead of surviving through motherhood. I love to find moments of joy in every day, laughter alongside breathing and moving are my medicine. I live in, Brighton, right by the sea & luckily get a daily nature fix.
